Shiva Hotel

Shiva Hotel pictures show the internal facade and window surround for Shiva Hotel in Canary Wharf, London. The wall is based on the industrial shuttering used to protect the sides when digging into the ground. We persuaded the designers we could fold a lighter weight steel to match rather than, as they originally insisted, using the actual used shuttering. The final finish they chose is a full rust on mild steel. We built a baton frame behind to give a level, vertical face to attach the panels to.

There are five internal window surrounds which we built and fitted which were patinated to match.
