Spine Stair

Spine Stair was an interesting challenge where the designer did not want any outside stringers but wanted to see a ribbon of steel stairs flowing down and around. A private house. The concrete footings were put in by the main contractor to our SE specification. 

The window is a very simple clean looking design which actually has several structural elements in it including supporting via a cantilever the purling in the angle of the roof.
