SS Stair

SS Stair are examples of the stainless steel & leather balustrade we made for a private house.  A key requirement for the client was to see no welds; so the vertical thin balusters go through holes in the top and bottom plates of the stair panels which means the welds are on the outside of the frames and hidden.  The designer had only a plan view sketch of his design so an interesting challenge was transposing the plan of the balusters onto the angle of the stairs to then drill and fit. A large 1:1 sample section was made to confirm the details were to the clients requirements.
