We have been trading as Redhouse since 1992 but our individual working roots in London go back over 20 years.
We have built a reputation as a specialist company with a wide and flexible skills base able to take on projects large and small where something different is needed and where details count.
Nick Hilliard / Partner
An award winning blacksmith with vast experince working across various projects. Nick’s commercial work includes feature pieces in restaurants and refits on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Liners.

Nick studied 3 Dimensional Design with emphasis on all types of metal fabrication and finishing including Furniture and Jewelry Design. After his degree Nick set up a workshop called Metal Mozaics specialising in architectural metal services and in particular casting finishes and the patina (patination) of non-ferrous metal sheet work. His award winning commercial work includes feature pieces across a range of prestigious restaurants and various refits on Royal Caribbean Cruise Liners. Although the workshop was in London he was supplying and coordinating for refits in Europe.
Stephen Anderson / Partner
Having learned his trade and skills from a master blacksmith Stephen qualified as a traditional blacksmith in 1989. Further formal training includes restoration, art, design and 3D AutoCAD modeling that places Stephen as Redhouse’s main artists blacksmith.
